You found it: one of Jules Bart's best known and oldest French corkscrews; the Zig Zag.
It dates from 1942 (see "Les tire-bouchons extensibles" by Jaques Lapierre page 61))
It was invented by the French Jules Bart from Nancy and registered as a patent in 1919.
Length: closed 16.5 cm, open 26 cm.
